This emulsion harnesses the potent properties of RICE FERMENT FILTRATE (SAKE). Sake is brimming with amino acids, vitamins, arbutin, free linoleic acid, ferulic acid, and Kojic acid, all renowned for their remarkable brightening, antioxidant, and moisturizing effects.
RICE FERMENT FILTRATE (SAKE)
Sake boasts antioxidants, which protect the complexion against environmental stressors and oxidative damage. It also boasts brightening properties: it is rich in enzymes that gently exfoliate the outer layers of skin. Also, the fermentation process produces kojic acid, a famous skin-lightening ingredient for hyperpigmented skin conditions such as melasma and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
Benefits: functions as an antioxidant and anti-pollution agent, stabilizes skin microflora, helps in treating acne, and enhances skin texture and appearance
CAMELLIA SINENSIS LEAF EXTRACT
Derived from the tea bush - an evergreen plant of the tea family, this extract blocks the activity of various forms of free radicals. Thus, it prevents signs of ageing such as wrinkles, age spots, the appearance of skin friability, and a decrease in its tone and elasticity.
The unique properties of green tea are due to the high concentration of polyphenols, the activity of which is higher than that of vitamin E. Polyphenols have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects and contribute to the penetration of biologically active substances into the skin
Benefits: enhances skin microcirculation, diminishes redness, serves as an antioxidant, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory agent, protects against photodamage, provides long-term hydration
APHANOTHECE SACRUM EXOPOLYSACCHARIDES (SACRAN)
Sacran is a rare edible freshwater blue-green alga indigenous to Japan. Polysaccharides are little sponges that retain water so they don’t dry out in the water. This explains why it keeps water from evaporating when used on the skin. Apart from sealing moisture, polysaccharides keep it pure and free from unnecessary bacteria.
Benefits: facilitates moisture retention, shields the skin from harmful environmental factors and pollutants, soothes, acts as a prebiotic, creates ideal conditions for healthy skin microflora.
Soluble collagen, unique in the degree of purification, has a similar amino acid composition to human skin collagen. By enhancing water retention of the skin, it improves skin texture. All layers of the skin become more “plumped”; as a result, the skin becomes smoother, and the number and depth of wrinkles decrease. Skin skeleton and protective functions improve.
Benefits: Evens and softens the skin, diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, deeply nourishes and hydrates the skin, promotes cell renewal, and refines skin texture
ASCORBIC ACID (VIT. C)
Is a water-soluble vitamin found in citrus fruits and many green vegetables. It is famous for its ability to protect the skin from environmental stressors. It is an antioxidant which helps slow down early skin ageing, prevents sun damage, and improves the appearance of wrinkles, dark spots, and acne.
Benefits: demonstrates a powerful antioxidant effect, revitalizes the skin, promotes brightness, stimulates collagen synthesis and tissue repair, and enhances skin tone and complexion
Hydrogenated lecithin has a high concentration of fatty acids, which makes it a good emollient. It helps skin absorb and retain missing fat components, and thus, dry skin recovers quickly, becoming smooth, supple, hydrated and soft. As a result, moisturized skin is strong enough to fight against environmental negative stressors.
Benefits: Enhances moisture retention, aids in skin barrier restoration, facilitates repair of damaged cells, and accelerates the regeneration process
